Innovation
Innovation means different things to different people. Rather than get into the subtle distinctions between one approach and another we have decided to take a strategic approach to the subject. For us, innovation is a way of doing business, rather than it is a process, a tool-set or a department. It applies to everything from strategy development through to the delivery of the customer experience.By taking a strategic approach to innovation one opens up the wider discussion about where the business priorities lie. Rather than focus on the need to develop new products there may equally be an opportunity to enhance the customer experience. A drive to create an integrated supply chain may be better served by looking at the interface between finance and procurement. Your suppliers of IT software, services and equipment may come up with a better IT strategy. It’s also possible that the new hire you have in induction (brainwashing into your way of thinking) may actually have a better way.
Our approach to innovation means that we have developed a deep understanding of the strategic opportunity that a joined up approach can bring. We have also developed a unique approach using systems research in biology. We use this to help leadership teams think through their approach as it brings together the environment, sustainability, evolution, development and energy optimisation. We offer a complimentary briefing on strategic innovation. Please get in touch via our contact us page.
Our other approach to innovation is delivering solutions through collaboration. As a partner of The Innovation Crew we are working with leading brands to design new products and services and offer a range of innovation options from idea generation through to full implementation. This is a full service offer which takes your detailed briefing and then uses a research based approach to develop ideas, concepts, proof of concept or full production solutions. You can find out more through the link to The Innovation Crew above or get in touch with us for an informal chat.
